Simbithi Eco-Estate has once again been named Best Estate in the 2026 Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards, securing the title for the fourth consecutive year after wins in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

With 312,141 votes cast, this year’s awards delivered an even broader endorsement of Simbithi’s lifestyle offering. Simbithi Country Club was voted Best Golf Course for the second consecutive year and Best Event Venue for the third, while the Simbithi Country Club Sports Facility took first place for Best Padel Club.

The Dragonfly Conference Centre and Pavilion Room placed second for Best Conference Centre, while The Fig Tree at Simbithi Country Club was recognised across six dining and lifestyle categories. The Pro Shop also placed third for Best Golf Store. The recognition comes as Simbithi continues to demonstrate strong property market performance. Independent research compiled by Rainmaker Marketing in July 2026 found that Simbithi recorded the highest total freehold sales value of any estate surveyed on the KZN North Coast, at R527.9 million. Its 53 transfers represented 21% of all North Coast freehold estate sales measured.

Simbithi has also maintained the largest share of North Coast sectional-title sales across every period measured since March 2023.

The Estate’s multigenerational appeal remains a defining strength. Over the past 12 months, 48% of buyers were aged 50 to 64, while 30% were between 36 and 49. Importantly, 40% of homeowners have owned their properties for more than 11 years, reflecting both long-term loyalty and continued new demand.
